Jeff made a brief pattern flight in the morning after which final adjustments were made. Jeff took a second flight in mid-afternoon that demonstrated the aircraft was ready to put into service.

Jeff and Jack took a 30 minute flight and turned the Scout over to Ray and Doug who made a longer flight that afternoon.

We need to put about 21 to 22 additional hours on the engine before the Scout can be used to tow. All club members are invited to fly. If you are not SEL rated and checked out on the the Scout, you can ask one of the rated pilots to go with you. A small hourly fee will be charged.

Jeff says he will be available in the afternoons this week so that anyone who wants to fly after work can help us get the towplane ready for glider operations by Saturday.

Hope you enjoyed the YouTube video on main page of the website!

Comments (2)

Safety Day Activities

Thanks to
